erik hagstrom Biography

I approach the world with the eyes of a naturalist and photographer. My images attempt to capture the life, texture, form and features of the many landscapes, flora and fauna I discover during my explorations of the outdoors. A degree in Wildlife Ecology provides a backdrop for a deeper understanding of the science that makes possible the images I see in the natural world. A degree in Electrical Engineering helps me leverage the technology of today's modern gear in my continuous quest to accurately present what I view and experience through the power of digital tools to produce that extra sense of the field experience. My love of the natural world is what drives me to capture the scenes I am privileged to view.
